Forming Workshops
Working Out The Kinks Ongoing Workshop
The focus on this class is to work on whatever you need to work on. Every six weeks we will have a focus on a new subject. If you have a singing or acting audition, you can bring in the material to work on even if it's on a different subject. Whether it’s singing or acting technique, getting rid of stage fright, embodying the character, recording studio technique, live performance technique, audition preparation, building your audition book,...etc.
Duration: six classes per session; once a week for six weeks (Ongoing; 1-3 week break depending on month and then classes resume to start new session)
When: Tuesdays at 8:30pm, Wednesdays at 8pm, OR Fridays at 6:30pm

Musical Theatre Voice and Acting Workshop
The focus in this class is on all classic and contemporary musical theatre genres, acting, and how to feel comfortable singing and performing them. Work on Singing and Acting Technique and also performance skills. After 2 sessions (24 classes and every two sessions after that), students will perform at “Scene Night” (a mini low key performance) and will be filmed. At the end of the year (beginning of July) selected students will have a full performance in NJ or NYC which will also be filmed.
Duration: 12 classes per session; once a week for 12 weeks; September - June; 3 month sessions
(1-3 week break depending on month and then classes resume to start new session)

Contemporary Voice and Performance Workshop
The focus in this class is on Pop, Rock, Folk, Country, R & B, or Alternative genres and how to feel comfortable singing all of them. Work on Singing Technique and Performance Skills. After 2 sessions (24 classes and every two sessions after that), students will perform at “Rock Out Night” (a mini low key performance) and will be filmed. At the end of the year (beginning of July) selected students will have a full performance in NJ or NYC which will also be filmed.

Embodying The Entire Character: Body And Mind Workshop
The focus in this class is on how to embody your character. This class is for any student that has had some training but feels like they still can’t get into character easily. (After doing the work they still lose focus). Work on the character’s mind set and physical aspects of the character by establishing their “Time”, “Space”, and “Force”. Each actor will work on at least two different characters and perform at “Scene Night” (a mini low key performance that will be filmed). At the end of the year (beginning of July) selected students will have a full performance in NJ or NYC which will also be filmed.
